Budget Passes / Cooling Tower Update
Tonight was the December 12, 2007 Venetia Condominium Association Board meeting to review and approve the 2008 fiscal operating budget. The budget was approved and without reserves. Maintenance fees will remain the same in 2008.
Project status updates were provided by Continental representatives, our President and Vice-President.
Our building manager received these photos from a unit owner who’s friend took them from the Grand Doubletree Tuesday morning. What a great sight to see!

Water Shut Off Notice
DO NOT FORGET
Water will be off at 10PM tonight, December 3, 2007 for replacement of the water pumps. We should all notice the difference immediately once it is restored.

Association Board Meeting of 10-23-07
With a higher turn-out than any recent meetings of note, tonight’s Board meeting had approximately 40 or more individuals attending. Sharon Dodge, Association President, joined by teleconference as you can see on the photograph here.
Tonight, the Board voted to pass both Phase I and Phase II of the Assessment, as presented, however did so with Phase II being in three installments, starting February 4, 2008.

Venetia Board Meeting: October 23, 2007
A Board Meeting of the Venetia Condominium Association is scheduled for October 23, 2007 at 7PM in the 2nd floor meeting room. As most are aware, the primary focus of this meeting is to discuss and finalize the proposed upcoming assessments.

Notice: Water Shut-Off 10-10-07
The water will be shut off in the entire building for a pipe repair on Wednesday, October 10th from 12AM (midnight) to 6:00AM.
If you flush your toilets during this time, the tank will not be refilled, [nor will any water be available for your dishwasher or other appliances]. Please check your toilets after 6AM to make sure that the water is not running. If you need assistance, please call the front desk at 305-373-5900.

Where’s the Music Coming From? Carnival 2007!
Venetia Residents may have heard some music Saturday afternoon and evening, then again at 8AM today wondering, “Where is that music coming from?”
Well, no need to worry - it’s not the club district - it’s Carnival 2007 at Bicentennial Park. Now celebrating their 23rd Season - the lineup is amazing and will be sure to please all who attend.
Kicking off Sunday morning at 9AM and running through 11PM, Miami Carnival 2007 is sure to be a hit! Don’t miss the Carnival Parade at Noon, starting at NE 27th Street at NE 2nd Avenue. Proceeds South on NE 2nd Avenue, East on NE 15th Street, South on Biscayne Boulevard, East on NE 13th Street, South on Bayshore Drive and into Bicentennial Park.
