ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION

The Annual Meeting was held on January 25th, 2007. Hank Cofield, Sharon Dodge and Jay Hess were elected to the Board of
Directors. De facto voting elected Hank and Sharon, as no other Residential candidates “ran. Jay was elected by 100% of commercial votes.

VP Sharon Dodge has called for a Residential Town Meeting to discuss residential concerns, such as the progress of building projects. The first Town Meeting will be held this Thursday, March 1st at 7 pm, in the Association Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor.

POOL DECK:
The pools are moving toward completion and readying for opening. A new awning and new fencing have been installed. New pool deck furniture- chaise lounges, tables and umbrellas are ready and waiting.

Pool ladders will be installed shortly, the pool deck will be power washed and pool deck walls will be painted. Mike’s deck area looks great!

ELEVATORS:
A new metal staircase leading to the elevator machine rooms on the roof is set for installation within the next two weeks. This will allow us to pass inspection and resume the use of elevator No. 4. We will then proceed to replace all steel elevator cabling, one car at a time. Further restoration of elevator cars will follow.

BUILDING CLEANUP

Over the next few months, you will see considerable gains in the appearance and cleanliness of the Venetia. Significant equipment repairs and replacements will make it possible to have clean hallways and driveway entry areas. As always, resident and tenant cooperation will be appreciated.

IMPORTANT! In preparation for pressure washing and painting of the garage, we will be removing bicycles, furniture, paint, gasoline cans, and all flammable material from the parking garage. The City of Miami requires that all automobiles in a parking garage must have current license plates and must be operational. When we start our garage cleanup, these cars will be towed at owner’s expense. PLEASE BEGIN REMOVAL OF THESE ITEMS NOW.

LANDSCAPING:
We have hired a landscaping company to keep our grounds and planters looking manicured and beautiful. Please keep your pets out of the landscaped areas.

SECOND FLOOR:
There are two beautiful spaces available for the right business renters. Contact the Management Office for details.
