The Board and Management are pleased to announce the re-opening of the Venetia Fitness Center on Monday, June 16th, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.

The following enhancements projects were completed during the past week and a half:

  • The flooring was removed; and replaced with new 3/8” premium solid black rubber flooring.
  • All the bench cushions have been re-upholstered with high quality fire retardant material.
  • Some of the equipment has been re-positioned for better easiness of use.


The following rules serve as “reminders” now more than ever for all unit owners and residents to take good care of this facility that is here for all of you to use and enjoy.

FITNESS CENTER RULES

1.THE GYM IS AN UNSUPERVISED AREA; THEREFORE, THE FACILITY IS USED AT YOUR OWN RISK.

2.TO ACCESS THE GYM, YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR UNIT KEY WITH SECURITY AT FRONT DESK AND SHOW YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE OR PICTURE I.D. SECURITY WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH THE GYM KEY. YOU MUST ALSO SIGN A KEY LOG UPON RECEIPT AND RETURN OF THE KEY. PLEASE RETURN THE GYM KEY TO SECURITY TO RECEIVE YOUR UNIT KEY BACK. THE COST OF A LOST KEY IS $125.00.

3.RESIDENTS AND OWNERS HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF GYM USE AND THEIR GUESTS ONLY ACCOMPANIED AT ALL TIMES BY THE OWNER OR RESIDENT THEY ARE VISITING.

4.COMMERICAL TENANTS AND GUESTS OF COMMERCIAL TENANTS MAY NOT USE THE GYM.

5.RESIDENTS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO USE THE GYM. IF NOT, THEY MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

6.NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE GYM. WATER IS OKAY.

7.SHOES AND SHIRTS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES IN THE GYM.

8.WEIGHTS AND EQUIPMENT MUST BE RETURNED TO THE CORRECT PLACE.

9.USE OF TV/STEREO IS ON A FIRST COME / FIRST SERVE BASIS. VOLUME MUST BE KEPT AT OR BELOW THE INDICATED LEVEL. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS.

10.NO PERSONAL TRAINERS AT ANY TIME.

AS THE FITNESS CENTER POPULARITY HAS INCREASED AND IS GETTING MORE USE, WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND CONSIDERATE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS BY WIPING DOWN THE EQUIPMENT WITH A TOWEL AFTER YOU USE IT. PLEASE KEEP THE FACILITY CLEAN.

SINCE THE FACILITY IS UNSUPERVISED, PLEASE REPORT ANY VIOLATIONS TO SECURITY. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE GYM RULES WILL RESULT IN REVOKING OF PRIVILEGES.
